Within the last few years we've seen a progressive shift from the tried and true traditional chapel wedding to couples opting to style their big day according to their one-of-a-kind penchant. The result? Unbelievable wedding location backdrops, creative culinary spreads, and of course-out of this world floral arrangements, to name just a few. Ever shifting, we're anticipating the following floral design trends for 2013:
GARLANDS
The large striking center piece on every table has been overused. Statement pieces that capture the natural opulence of a garden via an unconventional display are where it's at. Consider implementing a garland as a backdrop, as an altar piece for the ceremony, or on tables during a reception.
VINTAGE GARDEN
Vintage makes a return this year - with large blooms such as peonies and garden roses hitting the scene. A lush 'fresh from the garden' impression achieves both an atmosphere of romanticism and relaxed intimacy.
CASCADE BOUQUET
The hand tied bouquet will forever be one of our favorites. This year however, rather than a rounded or nosegay shape - get ready for the loud and proud cascade effect. Additionally, bouquets heavy on the greens are passe. Think full, luxurious, eye-catching, and overflowing with blooms.
